Be responsible for operating water trucks and various heavy equipment to support construction site operations. This role ensures proper dust control, soil compaction, and safe equipment handling while maintaining productivity and safety standards on job sites.
- Operate water trucks for dust control and soil stabilization.
- Fill, transport, and distribute water as directed for grading and compaction activities.
- Operate additional heavy equipment as assigned (e.g., loaders, rollers, skid steers, excavators).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all site safety policies, traffic control procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, site crews, and project managers.
- Assist with general labor duties when equipment operation is not required.
- Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and documentation as required.
- Ensure proper water application to prevent runoff, erosion, or unsafe job site conditions.
- High School/GED
- Class A CDL
- DOT Health Card
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience
- Experience operating water trucks or heavy construction equipment
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Good communication skills
- Problem Solving
